Obituary of Mai Hoang

SUMMERFIELD — Mai Hoang, 83, died Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Mr. Hoang was born in Vietnam and came to the U.S. in 1996. He was a policeman; and member of St. Timothy Catholic Community, Lady Lake. Survivors include his wife, Diem Thi Nguyen; sons, Bryan, Oxford, Bernard and David, France; daughters Kim Lien Hoang, Summerfield, Xuan Thi Nguyen, Vietnam, Carolyn Hoang, France; 23 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. A funeral service will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday, July 11, at St. Timothy Catholic Community. Arrangements are by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services-The Villages.
