Obituary of James Tuzzolo

Jim passed away in the loving presence of his family Friday, July 8, 2011 at The Villages Hospice House at the glorious age of 92. He was born in New York and moved to Naples, Florida with his wife, Marion, in 1979. He found a home as part of the management team of Royal Poinciana Country Club, a job he loved going to every day until his retirement in 2004 at the age of 85. Upon retirement he and Marion moved to The Villages where he indulged his passions for golf, bridge and bowling. Jim served in the Navy in WWII, was a member of the "Country Club Managers of America" and was a frequent contributor to the Naples Daily News with his "Reflections On Life". He is survived by his wife, Marion; daughter, Susan; sons, Jimmy and Charlie; granddaughter, Megan and other loved ones; daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation in memory of his life will be 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. Graveside services will be held in Naples, Florida later this week.
