Obituary of Mary Margaret Leonard Kirkland

Mary Margaret (Leonard) Kirkland, 78, Summerfield, FL formerly of Erie, PA, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011. She was born in Erie, PA and graduated from Millcreek High School. She married her husband of 52 years, C. Robert "Kirk" Kirkland, of Girard, PA. The Kirklands moved to Philadelphia, Boston, Buffalo, Morrisville, PA, Morristown, NJ, and Ithaca, NY before returning to Erie. They settled in The Villages, FL in 1998. Mrs. Kirkland was predeceased by her loving husband "Kirk" in 2002. She is survived by her sister, Marjorie Smith, Erie, PA; daughter, Linda (John) Knapp, The Villages, FL; son John (Debbie) Kirkland, Perkasie, PA; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, July 29, 2011, at New Covenant United Methodist Church, The Villages, FL.
