Obituary of Odillo Joseph Rodriguez

THE VILLAGES — Odilio J. (Rod) Rodriguez, 86, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011. Mr. Rodriguez was born in Key West and moved to The Villages from there in 2005. He was a retired display manager with 27 years of service at Sears; he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War; a Protestant by faith; was an avid swimmer in his youth, an avid reader and interior designer. Survivors include his wife, Alice, and daughter, Cynthia, Orlando. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, is in charge of arrangements.
