Obituary of Beulah Smith
Beulah "Bea" Smith, 90, of Ocala entered into heaven on April 6, 2013. She was born July 11, 1922 to William Lay and Maude Cooper of Strunk, Kentucky. As a young woman, she became a professional dancer. She loved every minute of it and even continued her dancing into her retirement years. She also became a licensed beautician at the age of nineteen. Later she opened her own shop where she worked until retirement. She moved to Florida in 1997 with her second husband George Smith. They moved to On Top of The World and felt right at home. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Morris L. Sloan, and her second husband, George W. Smith. She leaves behind Karen Bauer and husband Frank; son Bill Sloan and wife Susan; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at The Brentwood Senior Living Facility @ Fore Ranch 4811 SW 48th Ave. Ocala, FL 34474 at 7 PM.
