Obituary of M. Gary Moore

M. Gary Moore, 70 of Ocala FL passed away on Friday, September 15th in the care of Hospice of Marion County. Gary was born and raised in Deland, FL and moved to the Ocala area 50 years ago with his beloved late wife, Marcia Moore. In 1976 they started their business, Van-Mor Enterprises, Inc., which they ran together for 40 years. He was of the Baptist faith and was an avid hunter. He is survived by his daughter, Laura Laute, his son-n-law, Gordon Laute and granddaughter, Allysen Laute all of Ocala FL. The family will be having a gathering at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd. on Thursday, September 28th from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm with the celebration of life service starting at 6:00 pm. All friends are welcome to attend and celebrate with the family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Marion County or the Humane Society of Marion County.
