Obituary of Norma Margaret (Hallahan) Rombach

Norma Margaret (Hallahan) Rombach, 90 of Ocala, FL passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Bridgewater Assisted Living. Norma was born on May 12, 1933, in North Lawrence, New York, the daughter of Carl and Vivian Hallahan.

She was one of eight children and is survived by Eleanor Marjorie (Hallahan) Wilcox, Patsy (Hallahan) Libby and Sister Mary Audrey, RSM along with many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by John Hallahan, Daniel Hallahan, Genevieve (Hallahan) Adkins, Sister Mary Hallahan, Ursuline, and her devoted husband Alex Rombach.

Norma served in the Women’s Marine Corps from Nov. 1952 until Nov. 1958 and later worked as a receptionist to the Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.

A memorial service will be held at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ocala, Florida on February 27, 2024, at the 8:30 a.m. Mass with burial following at the National Cemetery in Florida.
