Obituary of Albert Edgar Byrnes

Albert Edgar Francis Byrnes, 81 of Chiefland, Passed away on July 24, 2014. Mr. Byrnes was born in Alston, Mass. on August 27, 1932 to Albert Edgar and Muriel Virginia Byrnes. Mr. Byrnes served his country for over 20 years and in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War era's. After his military service, he worked for Florida Power Corp. and moved to this area in 1989 from Homestead, FL. Albert and his wife Joe Ann attended Manatee Springs Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife Joe Ann his children, James Albert and Susan Byrnes, Marcella Alice Byrnes Addison, and 4 grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services Chapel. The funeral service will be Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 10:00 AM also at the chapel. The burial will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery with honors.
