Obituary of Pedro Marquez-Torres

Pedro Marquez-Torres, 88, of Belleview, Florida, passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 19, 2023 at Prestige Manor in Belleview,. He was born on October 19, 1935 in Puerto Rico to Hipolito and Matilde Marquez. He served honorably in the United States Army from 1959 to 1965 and later worked as a supervisor in shipping transport. More than anything, Pedro loved his family and they loved him. Pedro is survived by his family: Mariana, his wife of 66 years; their children, Maria, Pedro and Carlos; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Ismael, and sister, Lucila. The family will receive friends at Hiers Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road in Belleview, on Monday, November 27, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
