Obituary of Georgia Mae Seaman

Georgia Mae Seaman, 81, of Ocala, Florida was delivered to her Lord Jesus on October 22, 2023. Georgia passed away at Grace Davis Hall Hospice House. She was born in Manhattan, NY to George Hrubic and Gertrude Saches. Georgia is predeceased by both her parents and stepfather William Saches, her sister Judith Havens and her brother Edward Denman Warford She is survived by her beloved husband David J. Seaman. They started their love affair over forty years ago in NJ and moved to Florida in the 1980’s. She is also survived by her brother William D. Warford of Ocala and her stepdaughter Deborah J. Seaman of New Jersey. Georgia’s pleasant disposition, gracious laugh, and smile will be greatly missed by her family and church friends and best friend Sunny Sifford. Georgia loved animals and leaves behind her precious cat Honesty. Georgia enjoyed putting puzzles together and thrifting. She was a talented seamstress. Georgia was a very active member of the First Baptist Church of Belleview. She volunteered with the church’s Community Outreach Center, a former Sunday school teacher, as well as a member of the choir. Celebration of Life service will be conducted at the First Baptist Church of Belleview on Friday, November 10th at 11 am. Food and fellowship will follow at the church hall. Her ashes will be laid to rest in a private service at Florida National Cemetery on a date to be determined.
