Obituary of Robert Eugene Lay

Robert Eugene Lay, 47, of Ocala, Florida passed away March 17, 2023 at The Villages Health & Rehab, Lady Lake, Florida. He was born in Waterbury, Connecticut to Charles Wayne Jeffers and Tana-Marie Lay. Prior to his illness he was a popular entertainer who went by the name, DJ Doolittle. Robert is survived by his parents, Tana-Marie Jeffers and her husband Charles W. Jeffers of Belleview, FL; spouse, Christina Lay of Ocala, FL; son, Demetri Lay and his wife Ragan of Lafayette, GA; and daughters Joslynn Lay and Ariel Christine Stevenson, both of Beverly Hills, FL. He was preceded in death by his son, Kyle Lay. The family will receive friends at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL on Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM.
