Obituary Matthew Alan Carroll (Matt)

Matthew Alan Carroll, 41, passed away February 2, 2023, in Cleveland, Tennessee. Matthew was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, February 10, 1981, moving to Florida in 1984, where he lived most of life.

Matt is survived by his children, Emmaline, Matthew Jr., and Jacob; his parents Steve and Ginger Carroll; his brother, Steven (Carrie); nephews, Charlie, Colby; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to working most of his life in the auto mechanic business, he enjoyed fishing, outdoor activities, and was an avid sports fan, especially the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Carolina Tarheels.

Matt was a great friend to many, always laughing, smiling, and known as never meeting a stranger. His presence will be truly missed by all.

Services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at 11:00 am at Hiers-Baxley TimberRidge Chapel with viewing and family visitation an hour prior to service. Graveside service will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens at 2:00 pm.
