Obituary of Patricia A. Marsello Thomas

Patricia A. Marsello Thomas, 77 of Ocala, Florida passed away at the Ted & Diane Brandley Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer on November 1, 2021.  Patti was born on September 2, 1944 and resided in Schenectady, NY until 1997 when she moved to Florida. Patti was a friendly face you saw at Kool Kat Saloon, Farmhouse Restaurant and Fox Crossing Tavern. She is survived by her sons Leonard (Sally), Daniel (Lisa); brothers Joseph (Pam), Michael (Brian); grandchildren Nikki, Ashleigh, Mikayla, Rebecca, Cassandra and Alex; great-grandchildren William, Xavier, Gionni and Annalise; as well as a niece; nephews; cousins; and uncle.  Patti also leaves behind her beloved dog Bailey and all of her kitties.  Patti was preceded in death by her parents Theresa Bengevengo Marsello and Frank Marsello; and brother Frank, Jr.  Patti was lovingly called the crazy cat lady, she had such a soft spot in her heart for animals.  Patti also leaves behind many great friends, enjoying bike runs and adventures. A celebration of Patti’s life will be held at Fox Crossing Tavern, on Saturday, December 11^th at 2:00 p.m.  Donations in memory of Patti, may be sent to the Humane Society of Marion County, Inc., 701 NW 14^th Rd., Ocala, FL 34475 or Hospice of Marion County, 3231 SW 34^th Ave, Ocala, FL 34474.
