Obituary of Ronald Howard Elliot

Ronald Howard Elliott, 82, of Ocala, Florida passed away at his home on August 7, 2021. He was born March 25, 1939, the son of Howard Scott and Marguerite Rose Elliott. Ronald was a native of Waterville, Maine before joining the U.S. Air Force at the age of 17. In 1961 he married his loving wife, Wanda Joyce Elliott, and together they shared 60 years of love and happiness. Ronald served his country for 23 years before retiring from the Air Force. He then served another 13 years as a civil servant with the Navy. After living some years in Lincolnton, NC, they eventually settled permanently in Ocala, Florida in 2011. Ronald’s top priority was his family and friends and he will be greatly missed by many.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Joyce; children, Richard and wife Pati and daughter, Jeanne and husband Sam; grandchildren, Shaw Ashley and wife Kary, Stephanie Latino and husband Aaron, Spencer Ashley and wife Alyssa, Spencer Elliott and wife Tirzah, Weston Elliott and wife Brittany, Ashley Geldreich, Kailee Lackey and husband Brandon, Brice Falgout, Kenton Ammons and wife Anna, Ashton Peck, and Krislyn Falgout; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 coming soon; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Marguerite Elliott; siblings, Patricia Bruneau, Barbara Nadeau, and Linda Michaud; and son, Paul Scott Elliott.

A funeral service for Ronald will be held with military honors at 12:00pm on Thursday, August 12 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services (9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala, FL 34481). Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of the service.
