Obituary of Daniel William Moise

Daniel William Moise, 31, of Niceville, Florida, passed away at West Marion Community Hospital on July 27, 2021. He was born on July 14, 1990 in Nijkerk, Netherlands, the son of John Moise and Gabriele Miksa Meyer. In 2008, Daniel graduated from Desert High School in Edwards AFB, California before joining the United States Air Force in which he served from Dec 2008 to Dec 2016. During Active Duty he studied Air Craft Maintenance at the Community College of The Air Force and earned a two year degree.  Daniel was a Crew Chief on F-15 and F-35 Aircrafts.  After leaving active duty, Daniel joined the United States Air Force Reserves from Dec 2016 to Aug 2017.  Following his time in the Air Force, Daniel attended The University of West Florida, in Pensacola, FL where he was studying Cyber Security with only 1 year left to go.

In high school, Daniel was on football and golf teams and was a black belt in Karate.  As an adult, Daniel became an avid snowboarder, skateboarder, and outdoorsman.  He really enjoyed exploring caves, rock climbing, and being a daredevil into different waterways throughout the world.  Daniel loved Okinawa, Japan; Anchorage, Alaska; and the snowy mountains of Colorado. His passion at home was computer gaming and he was a world class chess player.  Daniel excelled at everything he did and put everyone else before him.  He was a gentle soul that everybody loved.  He always thought before he spoke, he had a great sense of humor, and he was very smart.          

Daniel is survived by his parents, John Moise and Maureen McMahon and Gabriele and Greg Meyer; his siblings, Diana Olson, Sabrina and Cory Mulrain; Carl Meyer; Eduard Meyer; and Mae-Mae Meyer; his nieces and nephews, Alexandra Olson, Camden, Jaedyn, Lucas, Rory, and Grant Mulrain.

He was preceded in death by his Oma and Opa Uta and Gerhard Miksa.
