Obituary of John Harold Brooks

John Harold Brooks, 85, of Ocala, Florida passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Brookdale Pinecastle. He was born in Fellowship, Florida to Aubrey and Lillian (Blitch) Brooks.  He managed a Scotty's Home Builder Supply store in Orlando before going into retail lumber sales.  John and his wife moved back to Ocala in 2019 from Summerfield, FL.  He and his wife were avid golfers, John having made 5 "hole-in-one"s.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Vicky Brooks in 1972.  He is survived by his wife Ann Brooks of Ocala, and sister Mary Lois (Clark) Yandle of Ocala.  A memorial service will be 10:00am on Wednesday, June 30th at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Ocala.
