Obituary of Israel Albert Cruz

Israel Albert Cruz, 29, left for heaven on Tuesday, May 5, 2020.  He was born in his favorite city of Chicago, IL on March 16,1991 but moved to Ocala, FL in 1999 to be with his father/grandfather Adalberto Cruz. When he finished high school he became a Combat Medic in the United States Army and served three years at Landstuhl, Germany. After he completed his time in the military, he returned to Ocala to be closer to his mom Dyannah Cruz and his grandfather. He attended Central Florida Community College in hopes to pursue a career in the medical field. Izzy was an amazing free spirit and could be found watching Dragon Ball, studying astronomy, playing video games or practicing photography. He had a beautiful and infectious smile that could always be seen when he was surrounded with his friends and family who he loved very dearly. He is survived by his loving mother Dyannah Cruz and his  hero, his father/grandfather Adalberto Cruz. He was an amazing soul who will always be remembered for his loving and gentle soul. God blessed everyone whose life was touched Izzy’s selflessness and kindness. He is very much loved and missed by all his friends and family. As we learn to move forward we know that his spirit and smile will always be with all of us. Heaven gained a great soul.
