Obituary of Edward R. Marriott

Edward R. “Ed” Marriott, 83, of Ocala, FL, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 28, 2019. Ed was born in Peoria, IL to Ben and Agnes Marriott and moved to Ocala in 2006 after his retirement. He was Plant Supervisor for American Allied Freight Co. of Peoria, IL. Ed served 10 years in the Army National Guard. He liked painting and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judith Marriott of Ocala, children; daughter Karen (Bob) Clark of Ocala, and son Michael (Lori) Marriott of IL, 6 grandchildren; Ashley Freeman, Ryan Clark, Sadie Clark, Amanda Anderson, Jacob Marriott, and Victoria Marriott, 6 great grandchildren; Nico, Aiden, Abigail, Jude, Stiles, and Lyric, and 2 brothers James Marriott and Robert Smith.

Visitation will be 10-11am, Tuesday, December 3rd at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service Chapel in Ocala. Graveside service and burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Ocala.
