Obituary of Burney Eugene Reichard

Burney Eugene Reichard, 76, of Dunnellon, FL went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 5, 2019.  Burney was born in York, PA, one of four children born to Richard and Arlene Reichard. He moved to Dunnellon in the late 1970’s.  He was a US Army veteran, and worked as a Production Manager at EDCO in Ocala.  He was a member of North Oak Baptist Church in Citrus Springs, FL and sang in the church choir.  Burney was a fisherman preferring saltwater fishing for redfish around the Hudson area.  He was very handy around the house and helping neighbors and friends.

Burney was predeceased by his wife Barbara Reichard in 2013.  He is survived by his children; Christine(Jeff) Sheppard of Anthony, FL, Lisa Avery of Palatka, FL, and Doug (Kristen) Reichard of Inverness, FL, 5 grandchildren; Justin (Kelsey), Maisie, Daisy, Millie, and Skyler, one great grandchild, Faith.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 24th at 3pm at North Oak Baptist Church in Dunnellon, FL.
