Obituary of Michael Eugene Wellons, Jr.

Michael Eugene Wellons, Jr. of Ocala, Florida, age 35, died peacefully on November 10th in Ocala. Born January 26, 1983 in London England, Michael graduated from the University of South Carolina at Beaufort with a B.A. in Science and Business Administration and received in 2014 an A.S. in Equine Business Management from College of Central Florida. After serving in the U.S. Army in Iraq, he worked as Farm Manager in Virginia and Florida and as Yacht Captain (2008-2012) in South Carolina. He founded Ocala Farm Management (2014-2018). Michael was an accomplished fisherman, greatly enjoyed shooting clays, hunting birds and deer and being in the outdoors of God’s beautiful world as much as possible. He is survived by his parents, Edna and Michael Wellons, his sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Wellons Waine and Mike Waine of Morehead City, North Carolina, his daughter, Kirsten Elizabeth Wellons of Danville, Virginia and his long term partner, Charlotte Brunson of Ocala, Florida. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
