Obituary of Marvin Eugene Morlan

Marvin Eugene Morlan, 84, of Belleview, Florida passed away October 23, 2018 at Ted & Diane Brandley (Tuscany) House in Summerfield, Florida.  He was the husband of Linda Morlan for 45 years.

He was born in Parke County, Indiana, son of the late Glen and Laurabelle Morlan.  Marvin and Linda moved to Belleview from Miramar, FL in 1996.  Prior to his retirement, he was a meteorologist in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 23 years of service.  He was a huge Washington Redskins and Florida Gators fan and also enjoyed watching NASCAR.  He was an avid reader and took great pride in being a member of the Friends of the Belleview Library for over 15 years.  His favorite music was Country Western and his favorites were Johnny Cash and Alan Jackson.

Marvin will be deeply missed by his wife, Linda and their daughter, Stephanie Bryant of Belleview, FL; his daughters, Cheryl Morlan-Carnes of SC, Lisa Morlan-Borgsteede of SC; and sons, Marvin Wayne Morlan of SC and Richard Morlan of SC.  He has 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Don Morlan.
