Obituary of Walter Thein

Walter “Wally” Thein, age 83, of The Villages, FL passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. He was born in Austria on June 18, 1935.

Sitting in his favorite chair with the TV volume on 80, Wally Thein loved listening to opera and watching his home country of Argentina play soccer.

The only things he cherished more were his beautiful wife of 56 years, his four children, and two grandchildren.

Wally passed away October 24 peacefully in his sleep at the age of 83. He will always be remembered as an extremely proud man with unfailing integrity. He lived a long, full life always serving as a mentor and role model to those around him.

He is survived by his wife Alice, children Monica, Corky (Niki), Ricky and Carol, and his grandchildren Ryan and Bella.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 27 at the Savannah Center from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.

Wally can now rest in peace as he takes his final siesta in the sky.
