Obituary of George Ritch Spires

George Ritch Spires, 86 of Ocala FL passed away on Wednesday, October 17th with his family by his side. George was born in Raiford, FL and moved to the Ocala area in 1956. George worked and retired from Swift & Company meat packers. He was of the Baptist faith and a devoted Husband and father, loving his family very much.

George is preceded in death by his beloved wife Barbara of 58 years. He is survived by daughters- Lisa Lepinskie, Michele Childs, and son George Ritch Spires, Jr, brothers Elmer Spires, and Paul Wright, sister Paula Himschoot, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

The family will be having a gathering on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 910 SE Silver Spring Blvd with viewing from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with his funeral service celebrating his life starting at 3:00 pm all are welcome to attend and share with the family.
