Obituary of Dirk Kummerle

Dirk Kummerle, 42, of Ocala passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018. Dirk was passionate about helping others through his work as a therapist. He loved to play golf and was an avid photographer. Dirk was a big fan of the Patriots and the Red Sox. He also enjoyed taking care of his farm. Surviving 9/11 was a defining moment in his life and made him realize he wanted to make a difference in the lives of others that had experienced trauma. Survivors include his spouse Jessica Throckmorton Kummerle, sister Jenny Kummerle, parents Albrecht and Ilze Kummerle, and his 2 pups Maggie and Gladys. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the Appleton Museum of Art, 4333 E Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL 34470.
