Obituary of James Richard Zanconato

James “Jim” Richard Zanconato, 69, of Summerfield, Florida, passed away September 3, 2018, at Ocala Regional Medical Center Ocala, Florida.  He was the husband of Bernadette Zanconato for 44 years.

 

He was born in Great Barrington, Massachusetts and son of the late Guerrino and Martha Zanconato. He was a graduate of the University of Miami.  He spent 30 years in law enforcement, with the Miami-Dade Police Department.  He enjoyed bowling and was a member of several leagues  where he bowled 2 perfect games. Jim also enjoyed traveling and being with his family and friends.

 

Jim is survived by his wife, Bernadette Zanconato of Summerfield, FL and sons, James “Ricky” Richard Zanconato II of Orlando, FL and Joseph Zanconato of Miami, FL.  He is also survived by sister, Susan Lefaive (Bob) of Pittsfield, MA and brother, Buddy Zanconato (Mary) of Pittsfield, MA. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
