Obituary of Raymond J. Whitehead

Raymond J. “Ray” Whitehead, 79, of Ocala, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018.  Ray was born in Providence, Rhode Island to Raymond and Barbara Whitehead and moved to Ocala in 1999 from New York.  He was an engineer with Praxair (formerly Union Carbide), prior to his retirement in 1999.  He loved to read, play golf, bible studies, and travel.  A devout Christian, he loved his family and “Education Sunday”. 

Ray is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 54 years Andrea “Andi” Whitehead of Ocala, FL, son Craig Whitehead of Venice, FL, daughter Andrea Lynn Liebert of NYC, NY, grandchildren Sydney and Taylor of Florida, and great granddaughter Hadley of Florida.
