Obituary of Cory Robert Stalker

Cory Robert Stalker, 35, of Ocala, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 26, 2018.  Cory was born in Hollywood, FL to Carlos Rodriguez and Shawn Stalker and has lived in Ocala for the past 25 years.  He was manager at Winn Dixie grocery store.  Cory was a devout Christian.  He loved basketball and football, and had a way of making everyone laugh.  A gentle soul, he battled cancer for 3 ½ years, his faith never wavering.  He will be loved and missed by many.

Cory is survived by his mother, Shawn Stalker of Ocala, his father Carlos Rodriguez of Phoenix, AZ, sisters Loren and husband Christopher Perkins of Ocala and Theresa and husband Alejandro Vasquez of New Jersey, 3 nieces; Zaliyah, Yisela, and Ariela, and 3 nephews; Frank, Christopher Jr., and Andre.

A funeral gathering will be held from 6-8pm on Tuesday, July 31^st, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Ocala.  Ceremony at 6:30pm.
