Obituary of Allen Leroy Sinclair

Allen Leroy Sinclair’s Sunrise was July 26, 1953 and his Sunset was May 18, 2018, at age 64.  He was in his home in Ocala surrounded by his family and his beloved Cats.  Allen was retired from the city of Ocala and FatBoy’s BBQ.  He also worked at Walmart in Summerfield. 

Allen is survived by his Son Brian Short of Sparr, FL, Parents Yvonne Sinclair of DeFuniak Springs, FL and George Sinclair of Belleview, FL. His sister Cindy Reid of Ocklawaha, FL, sister Debbie and Dow James of Texas City, TX, brother Kim and Cindy Sinclair of Texas City, TX, sister Toina and Wayne O’Berry of Ocala, FL, step brother Bud and Patty Bertino, and step sister Betty and Roy Melms,step brother Bob and Beverly Bertino, nephews; Chuck James, Phillip and Karen Sinclair, Mike and Erica James, James O’Berry, Matt and Tina James, AJ and Jennifer Sinclair and lots of great nephews and nieces. 

Allen was an active member of Ocala Jaycees, and contributed over 50 gallons of blood to Marion County Blood Bank.  He loved cruises having logged 9 cruises with his friends. 

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, May 23 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Ocala from 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Wheelchairs 4 Kids, 1976 S.
