Obituary of Susan Roberta Dow

Susan Roberta Dow, 71, of Ocala, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018. Susan was born in Elkland, PA to Robert and Marjorie Ferry. She moved to Ocala in 2013 from Bradford, NY. She worked at Corning, Inc. for 30 years in various positions.

Susan was well known for her infectious smile and attitude, love of her family, friends, her dogs Jaegermeister and Roxie, and her warm and caring heart.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Alan Mattoon of Ocala, sons Wayne Hendrickson of Ithaca, NY, and Richard Dow of Muncie, IN, daughter Yvette and husband Daniel Button of Osceola, PA, loving stepchildren Robin Ferratella and Ryan Mattoon, 9 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and brothers Joe Ferry of Osceola, Pa, Mike Ferry of Osceola, Pa, and sister Regina Horton of Lock Haven, Pa. Susan was predeceased by one grandchild, Aaron Button.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for June 16, 2018 from 11am to 3pm at the VFW on Baker Street in Corning, NY.
