Obituary for Harriet  Scarpino

 

Harriet Scarpino, 93, of Ocala, Florida passed away May 10, 2018 at TimberRidge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Ocala, Florida.

 

She was born on February 8, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York a daughter of Abraham and Frieda (Rapps) Finkelstein. She owned and operated a gift shop for many years.

 

Harriet is survived by son, Allan M. Resnick of  Yorktown , VA, granddaughter, W. Lynn  Resnick of Seattle, WA, grandson,  Carl C. Resnick of  Suffolk, VA and sister,  Doris  Lander-Morel of  South Orange, NJ.  She has 2 great grandchildren a niece and 2 nephews. Harriet was preceded in death by husband, Carl C. Scarpino; son, Lloyd W. Resnick her parents and sister, Sylvia Murphy.

 

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, FL with Rabbi Ze’ev Harari, DD officiating.  Arrangements entrusted to Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 9695 SE 110^th Street, Ocala, FL 34481.  Condolences may be left at Hiers-Baxley.com
