Obituary for Patricia Ann Norris

Patricia Ann Norris, 66, of Ocala, Florida passed away April 29, 2018 at West Marion Community Hospital Ocala, Florida. She was the wife of Edwin Norris for over 41 years.

Patti was born on October 20, 1951 in Warwick, Rhode Island to Robert and Margaret (Hale) Smith. Prior to her retirement she was a teacher.  She was an active member of Silver Springs Shores Presbyterian Church, Ocala.  Patti loved the beach, playing Scrabble, cooking, and spending time with her 3 year old grandson Zeke.

Patricia will be deeply missed by her husband, Edwin Norris and son Robert Norris and his wife Bianca of Ocala, FL, step-daughter Lisa Norris and fiancé, Chris of Gig Harbor, WA, step-son, Edwin John Otto and his wife, Amber of Clyde, MO.  She is also survived by sister, Debbie Supper and her husband Vic of Norfolk, VA and her father, Robert W Smith Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA. She has 9 grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Smith.

The family will receive friends at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420 on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 5:00PM - 7:00PM. Funeral services will be at 10:00AM on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Silver Springs Shores Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Alan Cummings officiating. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Memorials may be made to the Lake Weir High School Boys Basketball c/o SSSPC, 674 Silver Road, Ocala, FL 34472.
