Obituary of Lillian Belliveau Zdan

Lillian Belliveau Zdan, 78, of The Villages went to heaven after her courageous 2 ½ year battle with cancer on Monday, April 16, 2018 at The Villages Regional Hospital surrounded by her very best friend, sister, and husband.

Lillian was a beautiful, bright spirit who was loved by everyone she met.  Her contagious laugh and beautiful smile will be greatly missed.  She was a loving mother and wife, who enjoyed, gourmet cooking, traveling (especially to Italy), shopping, cruises (84), bridge, mah jongg, and any card game, computer games and spending time with her family and friends.  She was a caring mother and grandmother who always looked forward to having family visit her in The Villages where she retired in 2004 with her husband, of 42 years Michael Zdan.

Lillian was born on January 2, 1940 in San Francisco, CA to the late Lester and Carmen Belliveau.  Lillian is survived by her husband Michael Zdan of Florida; daughter Lisa O’Leary of California; sons Grant Elliott of California, and Eric Elliott of Georgia; sister Diana Belliveau of California; step-daughter Katherine Zdan of Georgia; and seven grandchildren.

Celebration of life will be performed at the New Covenant United Methodist Church, 3470 Woodbridge Dr, The Villages, FL  32162, on Thursday April 26th at 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the church in honor of her name.

Lillian will always be remembered as a beautiful, talented and selfless woman who loved unconditionally.  Her warmth and compassion for others made her unique.  The impact she made on those whom she met and loved will never be forgotten.
