Obituary for Samuel R. Lelko, Sr.

Samuuel R. Lelko, Sr. was born April 29, 1931 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania and passed away April 14, 2018 at Estelle’s Hospice House in Ocala, Florida.  He was a son of John and Mary (Haranshaw) Lelko.   

Mr. Lelko was of the Baptist faith.  His greatest enjoyment in life was his family.  He also liked to read and to watch football and NASCAR.  He worked as a meat packer for a wholesale grocery.

Samuel was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 56 years, Betty Lelko. 

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Samuel and Tina Lelko, Jr.; grandchildren, Christine, Brandon, and Jasper; great grandsons, Benji and Cailean; brother, Walter Lelko; sister, LaVon, and her husband, William Tingley.

Graveside service will take place at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Ocala on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM.
