Obituary of Mary Tierney

Mary Tierney, 91, of Summerfield, Florida passed away April 7, 2018 at the Springs of Lady Lake, Lady Lake, Florida. She was the wife of the late Jerome Tierney who preceded her on August 15, 2015.

Mary was born on February 10, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York a daughter of the late Joseph and Freda (Stellone) Sanzone. She and Jerome moved to Florida from Long Island, NY in 1986. Prior to her retirement she was a Medical Secretary. She was of the Catholic faith.

Mary is survived by: daughter, Mary Fucci of Athens, GA; Teresa Lanzer of Summerfield , FL; Veronica Romano of Blue Ridge, GA, and sons, Jerome Tierney of Buffalo, NY, Thomas Tierney of Idaho; Matthew Tierney of Long Island, NY and Robert Tierney of Long Island, NY. She has 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister, Freda Ramoska of Long Island, NY. She was also preceded in death by sister, Ann Scott and brother, Anthony Sanzone.
