Obituary of Dorothy Mead

Bernice Dorothy Mead, age 97, of Ocala, FL passed away on Friday, November 7, 2008. She was born in Nebraska City, NE on March 3, 1911. Mrs. Mead lived in Arlington, VA for 27 years. She worked as a Stenographer for the Veteran's Administration and the Navy Department in Washington, DC for 22 years. After retirement she moved to Bradenton, FL where she lived until moving to Ocala in 1988. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ocala. Mrs. Mead is survived by 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. A private interment will take place at Palms Robarts Memorial Park in Sarasota, FL.
