Obituary of Arthur Congleton

Arthur B. "Gator" Congleton, age 66, of Bristol, TN passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2008 in Ocala, FL. He was born in Norfolk, VA on January 25, 1942. He attended and graduated from the University of Florida. Arthur lived most of his life in Florida and recently moved back to Tennessee. He was an avid Gator fan. He owned and operated a Pilot Escort business called Transport Services. His hobbies included collecting Eagle figurines and US Navy artifacts. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1140 of Gainesville. Arthur is survived by his wife Nancy Congleton of Bristol; daughter Vicki Christman and Sherri Kielty both of Ocala and 6 grandchildren. He was a member of the Church of Christ. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2008, 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL.
