Obituary of Kathleen Leahy

Kathleen Leahy, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Legacy Hospice House in Ocala. Kathleen was a member of Queen of Peace Parish Catholic Church where she was active in Perpetual Adoration and Pro-Life. She leaves behind three nieces, Kathleen Sanborn of Pleasantville, NY; Cecilia Callahan of Jefferson City, MO, and Veronica Niccolls of Roanoke, VA; one nephew, John J. Leahy of Port Jefferson, NY; and her dear friend, Margaret Sharrow of Ocala; also 12 grand nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, SR 200, Ocala on Monday, December 1, 2008 at 11:35 AM with Father Patrick J. O'Doherty and Father John Jadaa officiating. Visitation will be at Hiers Memorial Chapel - TimberRidge, 9695 SW 110th St., Ocala on Friday, November 28, 2008 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM with prayers at 3:00 PM. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Marion County c/o Legacy House, PO Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478-4860 or to the Alpha Center, 118 N. Pine Avenue, Ocala, FL 34475. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Queens, NY.
