Obituary of Nancy-Adair Brooks

Nancy Jane Adair, age 54, of Vero Beach, FL passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 in Vero Beach. She was born on August 20, 1954 in Williamson, WV. Nancy was raised in Ocala. She attended Vanguard High School. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant throughout her life. She was an avid NASCAR and Gator fan. Nancy was a great cook. She is survived by her mother Helen Adair Hayden; step-father Roy Hayden; brother John Adair, Jr. sister Sue Adair; sister Sandy Adair; son Robert Brandman; daughter Janet Scanlon; son Donny Thomas; daughter Sierra Moffett; grandchildren Bryce and Coral Scanlon. She was preceded in death by her father John Adair, Sr. and brother Gary Lynn Adair. A funeral will be held at Southern Home Old Regular Baptist Church in Citra, FL on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 1:00pm. A visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 6:00 - 8:00pm. Interment will take place at the church cemetery. Arrangements by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala, FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church in Nancy's memory.
