Obituary of Betty Leonard

Leonard, Betty 85 Ocala-Betty Young Leonard, 85, of Ocala, passed away at her home following a lenghty illness on January 20, 2009. She was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on August 25, 1924. She attended St. Petersburg High school class of 1941. Mrs. Leonard was the wife of Aaron Leonard for the past 34 years. She is survived by two sons, Robert A. Young of Pensacola, FL, Sey Young of Bentonville, Ark. and a daughter, Linda Marks of Ocala, FL. She was also blessed with 4 grnadchildren; Robert Young, Collin Young, Taylor and Libby Young; and a sister, Edna Kilmark of Ocala. Mrs. Leonard was a past Weight Watcher counselor, a 25 year Gray Lady volunteer with Munroe Regional Hospital, and the former happenings editor for Ocala Magazine. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Ocala. There will be no viewing. A graveside service will be held at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, Saturday, January 24th at 11:00 am. Arrangements by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala.
