Obituary of James Oglesby

Oglesby, James Lewis Ocala - James Lewis Oglesby, 66, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2009 at Woodland Terrace in Hernando. He was born in Oxford, FL. He worked as an auto mechanic for over 20 years. He is survived by his spouse Sarah Oglesby of Nashville, TN; son James F. Oglesby of Nashville, TN; daughter Laura Pyeatt of Evant, TX; Eddie Oglesby of Nashville, TN; brother Tommy Oglesby of Chipley, FL; brother Eddie Oglesby of Ocala; sister Judy Markins of Ocala; sister Jan Salyer of Ocala; step-father Leroy Cox of Ocala; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, February 16, 2009 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - Ocala Chapel with Pastor Lavell Craig officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Kendrick Cemetery.
