Obituary of Katie Horne

Katie L Horne 93 of Ocala went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 3, 2009 in Ocala, Fl. She was a native Floridian. The best Grannie ever. She was a homemaker. Loved to cook and sew and spend time with her family. A fantastic gardener. She could do anything she put her mind to do. Preceded in death by her husband, Herbert R Horne (Granddaddy), her son Kenneth R Horne. Survived by her son Dennis L Horne and Tami, her daughter Wanda G Nabbefeld. Also a daughter Gloria "Pat" Beck and a son Reggie Horne and wife Sharon. Sisters Marguerite Crews and Cecile (Aaron)Varn. A special Niece Mary Johnson And many other nieces and nephews. Grandchildren Dennis, jr, Amber, Derek and Tasha Horne, Richard and Tina Nabbefeld, Robin Crabtree, Todd Taylor, Angie Taylor, Ty and Scott Horne and 19 Great Grandchildren . Funeral services will be held on Friday March 6, 2009 at Memorial Baptist Church 3698 SE 95 St Ocala, Fl at 11:00 a.m. with viewing starting at 10:00 a.m.. Interment will follow at Palatka Memorial Gardens at 3:00 p.m. Arrangement by Hiers Baxley Funeral Services Ocala.
