Obituary of Marvin Moore

Ocala - Marvin Aldrich Moore, 73, of Ocala died March 6, 2009 at New Horizon Convalescent Center. Mr. Moore is a native of Miami, moving to Ocala 40 years ago from Miami. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, retired self-employed truck driver and had worked for Don's Garage in Ocala. Marvin was a veteran United States Marine Reserve. He is survived by his wife, Georgia H. Moore, Ocala; daughters, Lydia McKnight Fink and husband Mike of Lake Panasofkee and Laura O'Connell, Woodstock, GA; sons, Jeffery C. Moore and wife Lisa, Orlando, FL and David H. Moore of Savannah, GA; sisters, Lila Cox of Thailand and Thelma Adele Smith of Valdosta, GA; brother, Robert O. Moore of Bronson, three grandchildren, Shannon McKnight, Anna Louise Moore, and Joshua R. Moore. Preceded in death by daughter Anna Louise Moore, sister, Nellie Claire Moore and brother, James Arad Moore.
