Obituary of Genevieve Palotta

Genevieve Palotta, 83, passed away at her residence on March 8, 2009. Mrs. Palotta was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved from Long Island to Ocala in 1996. She was a retired Data Entry Clerk who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, traveling, and old movies. She was a member of the NY- NJ Club and the Latch Hookers of On Top of the World. Mrs. Palotta is survived by her husband of 52 years, Frank Palotta of Ocala; three sons, John Palotta of Gastonia, NC; Michael Palotta; and Ralph Palotta of Long Island, NY three brothers, Ralph Caracciolo of Des Moines, IA; Carmine Caracciolo of Coral Springs, FL; and Mickey Caracciolo of Pompano Beach, FL; and five grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 8:30 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, SR 200 with Father Patrick J. O'Doherty officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 10 and Wednesday, March 11 from 2:00-5:00 PM with prayers on Wednesday at 4:00 PM. Memorial may be made to the charity of your choice.
