Obituary of Samuel Walter Redding

Samuel Walter Redding, 89, died at his residence April 21, 2009. He was born in Ocala, FL and was a lifelong resident of Marion County. He was of Protestant faith and was owner/operator of Redding Grove Service. Mr. Redding was past president of Marion County Farm Bureau, honorary chapter Farmer of FFA, and member of Florida Citrus Mutual. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the United States Army in the Aleutian Islands. Mr. Redding is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eleanor Redding, Weirsdale; son, Samuel Lee Redding and wife Patsy, Weirsdale; granddaughter, Barbara Ballard and husband Mike, Weirsdale; grandson, Ray Redding, Weirsdale and 3 great-grandchildren, Justice Ballard, Liberty Ballard and Faith Ballard.
