Obituary of Shirley Pauzé

Shirley M. Pauzé, 77, died on June 1, 2009 at The Villages Regional Hospital. She was born in New Haven, CT and moved to this area from Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1989. She was a member of Belleview United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, worked in the thrift shop, was part of the United Methodist Women, and worked with the bazaar for many years. She sang with the Sweet Adelines. When others in the family were ill, she would stop what she was doing to come help them. She was "the go to person" when in need. She was an avid gardener, reader, and loved to travel. She was a telephone operator for Southern Bell in Ft. Lauderdale for 22 years. Ms. Pauzé is survived by her brothers, D. Jerome (Charlotte) Pauzé, MA/ FL, Peter A. (Carol) Pauzé Jr., Ocala, Philip C. (Linda) Pauzé, The Woodlands, TX; 10 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
