PLACE OF BIRTH: Sparta, Tennessee CAME HERE FROM AND WHEN: Port St. Joe, FL in 2003 RELIGION, CHURCH AND OTHER MEMBERSHIPS: member Fairway Christian Church. One of the first women to go through The National Secretaries Association. She enjoyed square and round dancing, shell collecting, cooking, painting, playing the accordion and piano, and raising hybrid day lilies. Her greatest joy was family gatherings, spending time with her late husband and family. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Harrell, The Villages, Florida; two sons, David B. Melton, The Villages, Florida; Robert M. Melton, Metter, Georgia; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service, The Village, FL.
