Obituary of Nancy Bobbitt

BOBBITT, Nancy H. Mrs. Nancy H Bobbitt, 84, of Ocala, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at her residence. A native of Paris, Kentucky, she moved to Ocala in 1960. She and her parents were former owners of the Cloister Court in Silver Springs, and she later retired as Administrative Assistant to the President of SunTrust Bank of Ocala. She was an alumnus of the University of Kentucky and Columbia College, and was also a member of First Christian Church. She is survived by her daughter Sallie Bobbitt of Silver Springs, her sister in law Sally Kate Bodkin of Cynthiana, Kentucky, and a niece, a nephew, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Forrest (Butch) Bobbitt, and her parents Dr. John C. and Arminta Hart. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Monday at Hiers Funeral Home, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, with funeral services being held at 11 AM, Tuesday July 14, 2009, at First Christian Church, 1908 SE Ft. King St., Ocala, with Dr. Douglas V. Moore officiating. Interment will be in Paris, Kentucky.
