Obituary of Robert D. Williams

Robert D. Williams Born February 1, 1942 in Denver, CO; died April 30, 2017 in Ocala, FL. Bob was choir director at Ocala West United Methodist Church for nine years. He was a founding member of Living Spirit Community Church of Ocala. Bob was a music teacher, principal, and Superintendent of DeKalb Schools in Illinois. Bob and his wife fostered 70 children for over 20 years. He had two passions, family and music. Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years Jerilyn of Ocala, FL; children Jill (Daniel) Williams Bzdyl, Robb (Laurie) Christopher Williams, Fantasheia Williams; grandchildren Jaimee, Zachary, Nicholas, Jacob, Benjamin, Ashley, Brenna, Emily, and Caroline; brother William Williams; and sister Susan Maier. He is preceded in death by son Timothy Robert Williams. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017 3:00 PM at HIERS-BAXLEY FUNERAL SERVICES-Timber Ridge.
