Obituary of Trenton Wade Bass
Trenton Wade Bass of Ocala, Florida, passed from this life at the age of 18, on Saturday, July 19, 2014, as a result of injuries suffered in an auto accident. He was born on April 11, 1996, the son of Timothy and Shelley (McElroy) Bass. He graduated with the Class of 2014 at Vanguard High School with a 4.1 GPA and Highest Honors. Also, he received education through Ocala Christian Academy, Central Florida College and the Apostolic School of Theology. Trenton was a member and musician at Life Tabernacle Church. As a member of Hope Corps, an organization with the mission to produce youth with Conviction, Vision and Valor, he had just completed a mission to the island of Roatan, Honduras.
Trenton is survived by his parents, Pastor and Mrs. Timothy Bass of Ocala, two brothers, Myles and Brenden and one sister, Gracie; Maternal grandparents, Jerry and Kaye McElroy, Ocala and Paternal grandparents, Bishop and Mrs. Wade Bass of Ocala; Maternal Great-Grandmother Ruth Wiggins, Silsbee, TX, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends from around the world.
Arrangements are being handled by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, FL. Viewing will be at Life Tabernacle, 2940 NE 35th Street, Ocala, on Thursday, July 24 from 5pm to 8pm. The service will be at The Florida District United Pentecostal Church Campground, 5011 NW Gainesville Road, Ocala, on Friday, July 25, at 11 am. Interment will follow in Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, Ocala.
