Shirley was born in Titusville on October 16, 1953, to Bernard and Jeannette Reynolds, both predeceased her. Shirley is survived by her loving husband Cork and four stepdaughters: Tina Kay Thompson and Tim of Throckmorton, TX; Kim Renae Nightingale and Ron of Trinity, TX; Denise Westfall and companion Patrick Harris of Oil City, PA; and Tammy Tilley and Jason of Jim Thorpe, PA. She has three brothers, Terry of Guy Mills, PA; Dallas and wife Rhonda of Hydetown, PA; and Joseph and companion Rene of Meadville, PA. She also has too many nieces to name, and one special nephew, Brian, the son of her late brother Bernie, and the only nephew born into the Reynolds family. She attended and graduated from Townville Hight School, Class of 1971. She also took several Accounting courses at the Iowa College in Fort Dodge, IA. She formerly worked at the Colonel Drake Hotel; Crosscreek Resort, Mark Anthony’s; Joe Momma’s; Bill’s Inn; and Tuffy’s Tavern, all of Titusville before moving away with her future husband. Shirley married Corky Westfall in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 10, 2003, after determining that they would survive marriage after being together for 16 years. She and Cork traveled all over the United States working for the United States Gypsum Company; Shirley as a Field Accountant. They both retired in 2008, although Shirley continued contract working for USG from her home for another seven years. Shirley is of the Protestant Faith. Shirley was a former member of the P.N.A. right up to its closing the Titusville club; a former member of the American Legion, Titusville, PA; a Life Member of the VFW in Titusville, PA; and current member of the Ocala Moose Lodge #1014. Shirley loved taking cruises and adored all of her pets (former and current). She also loved to garden and collect elephant figurines. Shirley loved life and was very fortunate to have one after receiving not one, but two liver transplants at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL (1999 & 2001). She was blessed to have such wonderful caring doctors and nurses, from all over the United States, taking such wonderful care of her as traveled the country working after these two transplants. For this reason, she would love to see everyone check Organ Donor on their drivers’ license, as you just never know if and when you or someone you love may be in that very situation. Shirley, being a baby boomer had somehow picked up the Hepatitis-C virus but was finally treated for this disease and remained Hep-C free. Shirley’s wishes are to be cremated. At Shirley's request, there will be no viewing, but a celebration of her life, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Marion County, Florida Hospice.
